About the lake

Broadway Lake is a 300-acre county-owned lake on the east side of Anderson, smaller and calmer than Hartwell, and good for kayaks, paddleboards, fishing and pontoon rides. The county ramp at McFall's Landing is a quarter mile from the house, and Pine Lakes Golf Club and J.R. Cash's on Broadway are a short boat ride across.

What's included

Four kayaks (three single and one tandem), two paddleboards, floats, a fire pit on the deck and another down by the water, and a hot tub that runs all year. Life jackets are in the side shed. Bring your own fishing gear.

Lake Hartwell instead?

If you want big water, Lake Hartwell is 20 minutes west. Our house is on Broadway, which trades size for quiet and a ten-minute drive to town. People towing a wakeboard boat should look at Hartwell.
